New Hampshire to South Carolina Car Shipping

I booked vehicle transport with Ship A car Inc, twice in the past month. The first, the seller cancelled the sale the day that the hauler was scheduled for pick up. YIKES! Contacted Lisa from Ship A Car and she handled everything. I found another BMW K75 for sale, bought it..., and the first call that I made was to Lisa from Ship A Car. Once again, Lisa and Ship A Car Inc. handled everything exceptionally well. Vehicle pick-up and delivery by a company specializing in motorcycle transport. The vehicle arrived earlier than expected (2 days instead of 4) and in perfect condition. Lisa was great at communicating via email and phone (even for a customer that doesn't have an umbilical to his phone.) Would use them again..., in a second!

The process was easy. The car was picked up locally in Seattle and delivered on time at a convenient location in Illinois. The truck our car was on was enclosed, so t really wasn?t even dirty when it arrived. The people we worked with were professional and polite.

I would like to use Ship A Car inc. again. This was my first time using this type of service and they said they would have my vehicle delivered Sunday maybe Monday afternoon. It was delivered a few days earlier on Friday afternoon so I have a lot of RESPECT.

Rita was great to work with as she made the entire process seamless. Absolute pleasure with work with such a professional company! I was shipping my vehicle from Oakland to Hawaii and although initially working on different timezones was challenging, Rita made it her mission to get my car to Hawaii with virtually no stress on my end. 10/10 recommend. Transport came when agreed upon. There was some trouble before in that where the car originally was, the streets were too narrow for a large car carrier. No big deal, worked out a day before hand and not at the last minute and we got the car to a place where it could be easily picked up. Actually worked out better for us and the carrier. Driver was a nice guy and very professional. Loaded up in less than 5 minutes. Thank you guys.

I worked with Danny and he helped me with figuring out how we will ship my trailer. At first I asked if we could put the trailer on a trailer I didnt get any responce to that untill the day before shipping it. We had a little hickup but it all worked out in the end. Danny did an awesome job finding the right person to get my trailer to me. The guys who brought my trailer were awesome they put it right where I wanted it. That was no picknick for them. lol. But I am very happy they got it here. If I ever need anything moved or if I know of anyone who needs something moved I will tell them who I used. Thank you Danny for all your hard work. that my son's 2002 Toyota Camry arrived in Washington (Bangor Naval Base) last night. Everything went fantastic…from the car being picked up on Long Island on 10/29 to it being delivered on 11/4. It was estimated to take 8-11 days but arrived in less time. So happy with your company and will recommend to other military families and anyone else that needs a car transported. I used Ship A Car to ship my car from California to Chicago, I had never shipped anything before so naturally I was a little weiry but I came across Ship A Car after looking at other companies and I thought why not call, Turns out it was the BEST call I made, Very Very nice people, explained everything to me, always took my calls, always answered my calls, my car reached it's destination on time in the same exact shape as when it was picked up... They're the absolute best.

I had an urgent requirement to ship my car from North Dakota to Washington state. My car was on the trailer exactly on the fourth day from which i first called. They were very transparent in pricing and charges were very reasonable. Delivered the car 1600 miles away in just 2 days. I have dealt with Bob Moran on several occasions and he is outstanding in terms of getting a truck quickly and at a very reasonable rate... always a pleasure to deal with ..

My agent was Doug and he was professional, courteous, and as truthful as he could be. He kept me informed every step of the way and was very cooperative. As our circumstances change, I made him aware and he changed things up as we were going. I was shipping my deceased husband's car to our daughter. Things had to line up before I could ship that car and I explained that to Doug at the outset. He worked with me.   I live in a rural area with narrow streets. He said, “I'm gonna put the car up for some driver with the explanation of the circumstances. We will make that driver aware. And we'll go from there.” Somebody accepted the car within 24 hours and I was totally shocked. Doug explained everything to the driver and the driver said he could handle it. When I made contact with the driver and I re-explained to him, he said, “I committed to picking this car up so that you would not have to walk, you would not have to meet me anywhere. You wouldn't have to leave your home. This car is literally going door to door.” The morning that he was coming to pick up the car, the driver called me and notified me that he was in the area. I knew exactly where he was. I again said to him, “Maybe you should just stop on the larger street or the wider street, and give me a call. And then reassess whether or not you can get down into my narrow road to pick up the car.” I heard that driver before I saw him. He got down out of his big truck and said he couldn't turn around. But I was told not to worry as this was the commitment he made. We looked over the car and he took pictures of my vehicle. He loaded the 2006 Sonata on the back of his truck and it was ready to go. He gave me an approximate delivery date to my daughter. But his plan changed. The driver did not call to tell me but that was perfectly all right. My daughter was looking forward to the weekend and when she reached him, he told her he would have the car there on Monday morning, which he did. I just wished that I had known it wasn't going to get there then I wouldn't have been so anxious that Saturday. But he didn't know. Other than that, the driver delivered and the car was in excellent condition when my daughter got it. The gentleman backed his big, old, long truck out of this narrow street. I was impressed because nobody else did. I am grateful to Ship A Car.

Gabriel was amazing. A total angel to deal with. But the driver you hired Ray sucked. My truck was 3 days late was never offered a discount. I will refer the company but will tell people if a guy names Ray is doing the driving he had one excuse after another for my truck being 3 days late. But Gabriel and this company did great. GET INFO ONYOUR DRIVER..

I'm giving SAC a 1 Star due to the transporter they assigned me (guilty by association). SAC (itself) were professional and courteous. Unfortunately, if they assign "Dones Auto Transport Inc:" to you, MAKE SURE you refuse them! The driver was nice enough but didn't speak english - per the dispatcher. And the dispatcher was anything but professional. I'm all for supporting small businesses but this husband/wife team were the absolute worse in professionalism and communication! This is why they probably don't have a profile under Google or Yelp! I was promised 5 star service but received the most bootlegged service ever experienced! Wednesday, March 23: Received a call from the dispatcher "the driver (Javier) is confirmed to pick up my car on Friday (March 25) & would call me 3 hours out." Friday, March 25 Driver was a no call/no show. Attempted to make contact via text and cell to no avail. Dispatcher finally calls back late afternoon - Driver stuck at DMV all morning renewing his registration & would pick up the car  Saturday morning by approximately 8am. Saturday, March 24: 9 am, No word from driver/dispatcher. Several calls/texts made & at 12.30 pm, dispatcher text's back stating her son had the phone & she didn't realize I called. Almost an hour later I'm told the driver caught a flat but was approximately 45 miles away. 3pm, driver arrives & picks up the car. Tuesday, March 29 5 pm, dispatcher texts me - driver needs to drop off "tonight" as another driver injured his finger. I asked for a time, she provided a two hour window which I refused due to the inconsistent communication & lack of confidence. She then became obnoxious and even sent me a photo of the injury (see attached - NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH) & demanded I make arrangements for a late drop off. After A LOT of back and forth, she agreed to a Wednesday morning drop off. Wednesday, March 30 The driver makes contact stating he was onsite & unloaded the car only to find out he was at the wrong location. It took him another hour to get to the right destination. Two hours later, I finally got my car. I know as a broker, there is little SAC can do but this needed to be said! STAY AWAY FROM DONES AUTO TRANSPORT, INC!

Lawrence Knapp has been most gracious and helpful in supplying me with the information and process needed to ship my vintage car from upstate NY to Phoenix AZ. He patiently answered all my questions and was especially helpful educating me in my first experience shipping a car. In the future, if I need to ship another car, Lawrence Knapp will be the first person I call!

We had our car transported from upstate NY, on December 1, 2021, to Vero Beach, FL and back on March 31, 2022. Excellent communication from Ship-A-Car Direct (Stefan and others). They lined up ARK Transport, who made an uneventful trip from Colorado to Ohio. Car was delivered at 10:30 PM (No problem for me, but I was unable to take good receiving inspection photos. Driver was very careful unloading car. No damage during transit.

Steve was super. Gave me a quote and within a few days the pickup was lined up. They picked up the bike on a Saturday and it got to me 900 miles away on Sunday (the next day). I was amazed. Excellent service and reasonable price.

We worked with Bob M. and he is AMAZING. We purchased a Ram Rumble Bee and we needed it shipped quickly for a surprise for my daughter. He was great at making that happen for us on schedule and in time!!!

Never called to let us know pick up time would be pushed back. Never called night before when they said they would to let us know the pickup time. We are waiting to hear from them, flying out tomorrow morning, and can’t get a single response from anyone. Horrible service.
