The Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, (BWI) is the biggest airport in Maryland. The other airports that provide commercial and cargo services in Maryland are the Hagerstown and Salisbury airports. The College Park Airports is the country’s oldest airport. It was created in 1909.
The Amtrak trains, fast-paced Acela Express, goes through different routes to the Boston North-East Corridor. These routes include the Baltimore’s Penn Station, BWI Airport, New Carrollton, and Aberdeen along Washington D.C. Additionally, Amtrak offers locomotive services to Rockville and Cumberland.
Most of Maryland’s commuting services are linked to BWI Airport. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s Metrorail Rapid Transit, and the Metrobus local bus systems provide service in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties and connect them to Washington D.C., with the express Metrobus Route B30 serving BWI Airport.
The transit services of the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) are mainly structured, focusing on central Maryland and some portions of the Eastern Shore and Southern Maryland. Baltimore’s Light Rail and Metro Subway systems serve its tightly populated inner city alongside its surrounding suburbs. The MTA also has a local bus service that serves the city and its suburbs.
Freight rail transport is operated principally by two Class I railroads and several smaller regional and local carriers. The primary rail yards are situated in Baltimore and Cumberland. These rail yards have an intermodal terminal catering to rail, truck, and marine services in Baltimore.
Maryland’s interstate highways consists 110 miles (180 km) of Interstate 95 (I-95). I-95 runs through Baltimore, and becomes part of the eastern portion of the Capital Beltway to the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.
Other major highways are:
I-68: it covers 81 miles (130 km) and connects the Western portions of the state.
I-70: begins at Pennsylvania, North of Hancock, and progresses to Baltimore. It connects Hagerstown and Frederick as it goes.
I-83: travels 34 miles (55 km) in Maryland. It connects Baltimore to Southern Central Pennsylvania.
Additionally, there are numerous connecting interstate highways in the Maryland. The state also has a highway system that has routes numbered from 2 through 999. However, most of the high-end routes are either unsigned or have short spans.

We are military and we had to ship our 2nd vehicle from JBPH-Hickman, HI to Seattle, Wa. Using Ship-A-Car Inc was the best decision we could have made. They weren't the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for. Bob walked us through the entire process and he was constantly keeping us updated. We shipped our SUV 30 May 17, left Hawaii the very next day. Coming back stateside, we received some grave news. We had a death in the family. We now had to go on emergency leave, but our SUV was on its way to our new duty station. We had to leave right away and didn't know if we would be back in time for the delivery. Bob was an angel! Willie was wonderful to work with and motorcycle was picked up within a few days of my first call and arrived one day earlier than estimate which was great. This was going from Nebraska to my Marine son in California. The shipper assigned did not fill out a condition report and Willie told me there would be one so I asked but the driver didn't speak English well and kept brushing me off. There was a small chip on the back fender but I have left phone messages and emailed KP Turbo Transport that moved it and never receive a reply. I would use Willie again but maybe not accept quote from KP Turbo Transport.

I'm giving SAC a 1 Star due to the transporter they assigned me (guilty by association).
SAC (itself) were professional and courteous. Unfortunately, if they assign "Dones Auto Transport Inc:" to you, MAKE SURE you refuse them! The driver was nice enough but didn't speak english - per the dispatcher. And the dispatcher was anything but professional. I'm all for supporting small businesses but this husband/wife team were the absolute worse in professionalism and communication! This is why they probably don't have a profile under Google or Yelp!

Received a call from the dispatcher "the driver (Javier) is confirmed to pick up my car on Friday (March 25) & would call me 3 hours out."

Driver was a no call/no show. Attempted to make contact via text and cell to no avail. Dispatcher finally calls back late afternoon - Driver stuck at DMV all morning renewing his registration & would pick up the car Saturday morning by approximately 8am.
Saturday, March 24:
9 am, No word from driver/dispatcher. Several calls/texts made & at 12.30 pm, dispatcher text's back stating her son had the phone & she didn't realize I called. Almost an hour later I'm told the driver caught a flat but was approximately 45 miles away. 3pm, driver arrives & picks up the car.
Tuesday, March 29
5 pm, dispatcher texts me - driver needs to drop off "tonight" as another driver injured his finger. I asked for a time, she provided a two hour window which I refused due to the inconsistent communication & lack of confidence. She then became obnoxious and even sent me a photo of the injury (see attached - NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH) & demanded I make arrangements for a late drop off. After A LOT of back and forth, she agreed to a Wednesday morning drop off.

The driver makes contact stating he was onsite & unloaded the car only to find out he was at the wrong location. It took him another hour to get to the right destination. Two hours later, I finally got my car.
I know as a broker, there is little SAC can do but this needed to be said!

Theo was able to get me a driver to take a car almost 900 miles within 24 hours with very little notice. Everything was done over the phone and using e-signing. (Little glitch with e-signing but Theo walked me through it and we got it done). The car arrived earlier than expected which was great and in perfect condition. We are military and we had to ship our 2nd vehicle from JBPH-Hickman, HI to Seattle, Wa. Using Ship-A-Car Inc was the best decision we could have made. They weren't the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for. Bob walked us through the entire process and he was constantly keeping us updated. We shipped our SUV 30 May 17, left Hawaii the very next day. Coming back stateside, we received some grave news. We had a death in the family. We now had to go on emergency leave, but our SUV was on its way to our new duty station. We had to leave right away and didn't know if we would be back in time for the delivery. Bob was an angel! He coordinated everything from our SUV being pick up at Seattle, Wa to the delivery being held without incurring extra charges on our part (Thank you Aaron!). Willie was wonderful to work with and motorcycle was picked up within a few days of my first call and arrived one day earlier than estimate which was great. This was going from Nebraska to my Marine son in California. The shipper assigned did not fill out a condition report and Willie told me there would be one so I asked but the driver didn't speak English well and kept brushing me off. There was a small chip on the back fender but I have left phone messages and emailed KP Turbo Transport that moved it and never receive a reply. I would use Willie again but maybe not accept quote from KP Turbo Transport.

I'm giving SAC a 1 Star due to the transporter they assigned me (guilty by association).
SAC (itself) were professional and courteous. Unfortunately, if they assign "Dones Auto Transport Inc:" to you, MAKE SURE you refuse them! The driver was nice enough but didn't speak english - per the dispatcher. And the dispatcher was anything but professional. I'm all for supporting small businesses but this husband/wife team were the absolute worse in professionalism and communication! This is why they probably don't have a profile under Google or Yelp!

Received a call from the dispatcher "the driver (Javier) is confirmed to pick up my car on Friday (March 25) & would call me 3 hours out."
Friday, March 25
Driver was a no call/no show. Attempted to make contact via text and cell to no avail. Dispatcher finally calls back late afternoon - Driver stuck at DMV all morning renewing his registration & would pick up the car Saturday morning by approximately 8am.
Saturday, March 24:
9 am, No word from driver/dispatcher. Several calls/texts made & at 12.30 pm, dispatcher text's back stating her son had the phone & she didn't realize I called. Almost an hour later I'm told the driver caught a flat but was approximately 45 miles away. 3pm, driver arrives & picks up the car.
Tuesday, March 29
5 pm, dispatcher texts me - driver needs to drop off "tonight" as another driver injured his finger. I asked for a time, she provided a two hour window which I refused due to the inconsistent communication & lack of confidence. She then became obnoxious and even sent me a photo of the injury (see attached - NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH) & demanded I make arrangements for a late drop off. After A LOT of back and forth, she agreed to a Wednesday morning drop off.

The driver makes contact stating he was onsite & unloaded the car only to find out he was at the wrong location. It took him another hour to get to the right destination. Two hours later, I finally got my car.
I know as a broker, there is little SAC can do but this needed to be said!
